The 7th anniversary of the passing of late Sulli (Choi Jin-ri), actress and former member of f(x), brought heartfelt tributes from close friends and fellow celebrities, including Kang Ji-young, who shared her longing for her peer and friend.
Kang Ji-young, a member of the group Kara and an actress, posted several photos taken with Sulli on her social media account on October 14th, accompanied by the message, "I miss you!"
The day Kang Ji-young shared the photos marked Sulli’s memorial anniversary. Born in 1994, Sulli passed away on October 14, 2019, at her home in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, at the age of 25.
Actress Kim Sun-ah also took to her social media on October 15th to honor Sulli, writing, "It has already been 7 years since my soulmate-like friend left this world."
She began her lengthy and touching tribute by stating, "A world without a friend still feels like it is drying up, but after bringing home Goblin, the cat she raised like a daughter, a small light has returned to my life."
‘Goblin’ refers to the pet cat that Sulli used to raise.
Sulli debuted in the entertainment industry in 2009 as a member of the group f(x) and maintained an active career. In 2023, the documentary film ‘Dear Jinri’ was also released posthumously.
